How do you control it?
Drag with the mouse or a finger. Drop a tool onto a matching tool to merge. Tap a block with the selected tool to dig. There is no jump key and no inventory key.
Why does a block stop breaking?
The tool tier is too low. Merge more copies of the weaker tool until the new one can break that material, then go back to the same spot.
